Our Sparkling Autumn Sangria is the perfect segue into the Fall season with that extra sparkling holiday touch that makes all the difference.

 

Sangria is known as a blend of wine, chopped fruit, fruit juices and liquor/brandy. It’s the adult punch of the wine world so to speak.

 

The fun thing about sangria is…well, you can customize it as you see fit!

 

This Sparkling Autumn Sangria will have you and your guests filling wine goblets over and over again – TRUST!

 

Just make sure you double, triple or quadruple the recipe if need be.

Serving Size: 13 (6oz. glasses)            Total Time: 60 minutes (includes chill time)

 

INGREDIENTS:

 

  • 2 tart apples, thinly sliced (Granny Smith, Fuji, or Gala)
  • 2 Anjou pears, thinly sliced
  • 6 tangerines, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups unfiltered apple juice
  • 1 ½ cups orange liquor (Cointreau or Triple Sec)
  • 2 750-ml bottles of sparkling white wine (Prosecco or Cava), chilled

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

  1. In a large punch bowl or pitcher, place all of the thinly sliced fruit, apple juice and orange liquor, give a stir and chill for 30 – 60 minutes.
  2. Right before serving, take the chilled fruit mixture out of the refrigerator and top with the sparkling white wine. Serve in a wine goblet. Cheers!
